The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show is known as the most significant automotive specialty equipment show in the world. Mac Tools is going to exhilarate this year's show by featuring the Mac Tools Top Fuel Dragster in the lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center from Tuesday, October 30 through Friday, November 2.

The Mac Tools Top Fuel Dragster, driven by Doug Kalitta, is the only National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Top Fuel car being displayed at the 2001 SEMA Show. The show is estimated to host 80,000 guests and 4,000 vendors from around the world.

The Mac Tools Dragster delivers an impressive 6,000 horsepower that can take the car from zero to 100 MPH in less than one second. Co-Crew Chief and Team Manager Jim Oberhofer will be on hand at the event to answer questions about the maintenance and performance of the car, and fans of motorsports and automotive enthusiast alike will not want to miss the chance to get a close up view of a winning performer, the embodiment of speed and grace.

"With 1,120,000 square feet of space on the convention center floor, we are tempted to do an indoor test run," jokes Oberhofer. "But fans will have to settle for seeing the Mac Tools Top Fuel Dragster standing still for a change."
Making it into five final rounds this season, the Mac Tools Dragster has won three of those national events' titles including the inaugural Mac Tools Thunder Valley Nationals. The Mac Tools team is currently fourth in the points standings, proving that quality products, innovative solutions and unparalleled service create a winning tradition.

Mac Tools has been involved with motor sports for more than a decade, but this is the first year that the company has been a primary sponsor of an NHRA dragster.
