  • Thursday, right after the winching: I discovered that I had broken a rear U-bolt. Repairs over lunch. Use of highlift jack=tool number [JB]
  • Jan wonders if he's going to have to walk home. [RL]
  • The rock pile in the wind. We spent New Year's Eve at the base of this hill, using some large boulders and the Rovers at a wind break. [JB]

  • "Praying to the Tyre God" Airing down--just in case Soda Lake (bed) was muddy. [JB]
  • Rock pile in the middle of the lake bed. (travellors eave a rock). [JB]
  • The Gazebo in the Mojave River Wash. [JB]
