Mr. James Bramham has been appointed to the Off-Highway Motor Vehicle
Commisssion (OHMVR) of California. The appontment was announced on November 21
in Sacramento. Thank you for everyones help!

Subject: Californians, you need to do this!!!
A while back I asked you to call Assembly Speaker Curt Pringle and ask him to
nominate Jim Bramham to the California Off Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation
Commission. This is the commission that represents our interest in how the
"Green Sticker Fund" is used. Your past calls and letters put Jim at
the top of the list. However, because of political heat from some other
appointments to the Coastal Commission, Speaker Pringle has not yet appointed
anyone to the OHMVR Commission. On December 2, 1996, the new Democratically
controlled Assembly will convene and Speaker Pringle will lose his seat as
Speaker. It is imperative that he appoint Jim Bramham before that happens. The
appointment will be to a term position so once in Jim will be able to serve a
full four year term.
