For those of you interested in Mass. wheeling. There will be a selectmen's meeting regarding CATAMOUNT STATE FOREST on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 6th. at the town hall in COLRAIN, MASS. at 8pm. You are encouraged to attend. We are up against a few very vocal locals and a board of selectmen who seem to be interested in at least hearing our side of the issue. We want this meeting to be as civilized as possible and only constructive comments are welcome. If you feel hostile or think you will be...stay home. The New England 4 Wheelers, Inc. have put a great deal of time and effort into this along with Colrain local, Keith Gammell Jr., whom without his efforts, the Jeep Jamboree would not have been allowed to run in Catamount St. Forest. Preston Stevens of United Four Wheel Drive forwarded a letter to Carl Herzig, Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, Colrain stating United's position. Those who should be in attendance are myself (Bill Barnes), Jason Phelps, Keith Gammell Jr., Rich Banfield...we're from New England 4 Wheelers, Todd Landers representing Jeep Jamboree, USA, a rep from the Charlemont Inn and other businesses in the region. If you think you can contribute...come along! To get there from Greenfield, Mass., go route 2 west to 112 north, past Stone's Sunoco to center of town to town hall on right.
