Many people move to the high desert to have freedom in riding their motorcycle, quad or 4X4. All fun vehicles, but as cities and unincorporated areas grow limitation on riding or riding areas become more prevalent.

We are surrounded by good riding and 4X4 areas, but I would have to suggest the El Mirage OHV area.

At about 7 miles long and a mile wide, the lake bed is long and fast. And it?s not just fun for riders. The lake bed is also home to others enjoying their ultra-light air craft, windsurfing, remote control model airplanes and during the summer months, it oftentimes becomes a race weekend.
