I have been in Vegas for 3 days now with Supercrawl IV taking place in the parking lot of the SEMA Convention center. The exhibitors and feature vehicles are all arriving and starting to get setup. Again, 2005 SEMA looks to be bigger and better. With over one million square feet of space there is sure to be something new for any automotive enthusiast. Over 100,000 attendees are expected. 1900 exhibitors will be setting up over 10,000 booths. There will be more than 2,000 vehicles on display and over 1,000 new products. Of course we will focus on the Truck, SUV, and Off-Road exhibitors and there should be over 400 of them. Until tomarrow check out last years coverage and get ready for daily updates each evening of 2005 SEMA.

Skyjacker signed Off-Road racing champion Curt LeDuc for another season of racing. Curt will be defending his title in the Best In the Desert series and going for a 6th Championship in the 8000 class. In the short course world, Curt will be back racing a new Skyjacker Ford in the CORR Pro-4 class.

    Opening Day 2005 SEMA

It was a busy day at SEMA. This show is really getting overwhelming with so much going on. We did not make it around to see as much as we would have liked to, but there were several products that immediately stood out.

This is the Baja RS seat from Mastercraft. This is the first reclining suspension seat built for the off-road market. It has a 9 position heavy duty reclining mechanism. Could this be the perfect seat for the prerunner where you drive it daily and still need access to the space behind your seat?
