Tour of Joshua Tree National Park
This is my first time going off-road by taking the Geology Tour off the Jumbo Rocks Campground in the Park. The first eight miles is easy trip, just typical dirt washboard road in relatively flat high Mojave Desert. There are a few tough spot for first time off-roader like myself when descending 3,400 ft to the lower Colorado Desert through a rugged canyon while trying not to scratch or bottom out.
 
 One mile south of Jumbo Rocks
 Hard to believe the rocks are piled by nature
 Squaw Tank, Indians used to shelter inside the space between rocks
 My first real off-road obstacle. It is hard than it looks. Don't try this in a RX300 or SUW(agon)s!
 Have to go down the dip while turning 60 degree left between rocks
