  • Chevy's Pride and Joy - The Show Truck
Last month, there were a few of you who wanted the big picture. We're giving it to you this month -- the full-size image to do what you want with it, Chrome Suspension and Chrome Chevy. Watch out! They are huge 1 Megabyte files! We don't mind you printing it to use as a dartboard centerpiece or even to clean up the dog crap in the backyard. We probably won't think any less of you if you print it poster-size and hang it on the garage wall in place of the Bud Girls, although we will question your manhood. But if you use it for commercial purposes, we'll nail you to the wall along with an Eco-Nazi and spit battery acid on you.
Anyway, after taking a stab at April Disco Truck of the month, the Ford Super Duty dubbed Big Yellow, we thought it appropriate to focus our non-authoritative criticism on the infamous Chevy show truck we stumbled upon at this year's Easter Jeep Safari. There it was at the bottom of Potato Salad Hill looking pretty with two babes in the back and a torn-up twelve pack of cheap beer near the big Mickey Thompson tire in the rear. For those of you who actually sent us death threats because of last month's entry, hang with us until June 1, when we'll have a Work Truck of the Month. Here's the perfect opportunity to make good with your boss and feature his truck along with its company logos right here on Off-Road.com. Send in your best shot to Ford@Off-Road.com along with a brief description. Things We Found To Be Quite Impressive: The two babes in the back work for us
Window tint you can hide behind
Cheap beer for your friends
Chrome axle housings
Chrome leaf springs
Chrome drive shafts
Chrome track bars
Springs that have more arch than the letter "V"
The battle of the hair bands paint scheme
The 8-foot long brake line extension
The 3-foot of suspension lift
Things We Thought Were Missing:
The 8-track blasting Tesla
NoRm's chrome roll bar
Owner could have done something more with the hideous OEM mirrors
20-inch hood scoop for implied super charger
Roach clips on the rear view mirror
Chrome ring and pinion
Common sense
Circus clowns
10-foot Hi-Lift Jack
"Red kNecks Rule" bumper sticker
Chrome triple bypass coil-over Sway-A-Way race shocks
An 8-track cassette of Mega Death that doesn't work
Pace maker and heart monitor combo for those who can't handle more than a glance at the rig
