The Final Countdown
November 1, 2008

After a season of exhilarating competition, drastic class swings, event relocations and class dominance, the World Extreme Rock Crawling Championship Series comes down to one event. Eastern and Western Champions are already crowned and the slate is wiped clean. No less than 19 teams from the West (12 Pro Modified, seven Unlimited) and 12 teams from the East (six Pro Modified, six Unlimited) have come to battle it out in the small river town of Hannibal, Missouri. Made famous by author Samuel Langhorne Clemens (better known as Mark Twain), this history-rich town is host to the largest rock crawl of the year, a battle where a select group of East teams collide with the best the West has to offer, to see who is the best in the country.
