Hollywood, California - The radio crackles, "Weatherman, Weatherman
we have an emergency." The movie screen explodes with spectacular
views of the Baja Peninsula shot from the highest peaks and then
boldly heads into the Weatherman Radio Headquarters for the 2003
SCORE International Baja 1000 race. The single exposed light bulb
swings back and forth pushed by the elements of Baja weather. Bob
Steinberger, known to the off-road racing industry as "The
Weatherman," handles race-emergency after race-emergency as the
race rages on. The fabric of the Steinberger's tent runs taunt as
the fierce wind blows hard and the cold of November pierces his
heavy military parka.
