* Our updates to the 'net have been greatly compromised by a very defective Motosat - Datastorm Satellite Internet System that has been operative only 10% of the day. The system was deleivered on Thursday.

03/11/06 - 13:30; Spectator hit buy a TT at Zoo Road, injuries don't sound very bad. Every year hundreds of race fans mob the area to watch the trucks and cars jump.

03/11/06 - 10:47; Mark Weyhrich clocked at 117 mph on E-Trak! Trophy Truck 32 - Pete Sohren is moving again and at the back of the entire race pack.

03/11/06 - 10:44; Hengeveld and Childress on Bike 1x take the win for motorcyles. Jesse Jones is stopped for 40 minutes plus at the northern end of the course.

03/11/06 - 09:47; Jesse Jones, Trophy Truck #76 and Alan Pflueger in truck #28 are racing hard, side by side through Three Poles and starting the turn west at the top of the course. Bike 1X of Childress and Hengeveld is first on the course and half way through the race.

03/11/06 - 09:25; Trophy Truck #2 - Pete Sohren is stopped on the course before Zoo road. The satellite tracking from E-Track is working great. Click the "Satellite Tracking" link above to follow twenty of today's racers around the course.

03/11/06 - 09:01; A huge booby trap at RM 1.5, SCORE warning racers. Police have been dispatched and are on scene with flashing lights. The Mexican citizens build these traps often to just the see the race vehicles "get air" or make a jump. Unfortunately, their engineering skills are sometimes not the best and the jumps become just what they are called, "booby traps". First TT #16 Cameron Steele has started the race!

03/11/06 - 08:11; In just the first few hours of the race, there have been three medical incidents. Sportsman motorcyucle rider Garret Tollman on bike 249x went down and was transported to the Hospital. Bike 103x ridden by Chad Black is reported to be out of the race.

03/11/06 - 07:59; It is reported that there is very heavy rain in the northern sections of the course. As far as we know, it has never rained during the San Felipe 250 race. This is a first. There will be a lot of cold racers out on the course today, especially the teams in rear engine cars, on bikes and on quads.

03/11/06 - 07:59; Dead body just found, NOT race related.

03/11/06 - 07:54; All of the motorcycles and ATV's are off the line. Light rain in San Felipe with very dark clouds moving in.
