Occupation: Owner & Operation Manager - Team Sisson Motorsoports Years Rock Crawling: 16 Years Rock Crawling Professionally: 4 Driving Philosophy: "Image is everything, obey your spotter !!!" Farmington, NM - Garrett Sisson, owner and operations manager for Team Sisson Motor Sports, has been four-wheeling longer then he can remember. His father, Don Sisson, was one of the founding members of the Cliff-Hangers Four-Wheel Drive Club in Farmington, NM. Garrett spent the majority of his youth watching vehicles attempt to conquer challenging obstacles on many various trails; the more he watched, the more he learned. When Garrett was old enough to drive, and could afford his first Jeep, a 1976 CJ-5, he was able to learn more about the art of rock crawling with some hands on experience. Now, after more than 15 years in the sport, he has found what it takes to be an accomplished driver. Garrett’s first year as a professional was the 1999-2000 ARCA series, and to this day Garrett is still out there showing the world what it takes to be a champion.
Farmington, NM - Matt Sisson spent his entire childhood in the four-wheeling community. Because of his father’s involvement in the sport there was no question that Matt’s first set of wheels would be a four wheel drive. Matt grew up around four-wheeling his entire life, watching and following in the footsteps of his father, Don. Matt’s first vehicle of choice was was a 1975 Ford Bronco, which he still owns to this day. Matt is a very experienced driver and has built an extremely capable rock crawler. These two brothers have spent countless hours exploring and four wheeling the areas in and around Choke Cherry Canyon in Farmington, New Mexico long before it became known as a world class mecca for hard core and extreme rock crawlers. They have explored the canyons and outcroppings of the Moab valley for almost two decades.
