Avalanche Ranch, Durango,
Colorado:
The wilds of Colorado and the
toughest of rock obstacles didn't stop the rockin' team of Jon
Bundrant & Larry McRae from wheeling their hearts out, as they
captured yet another rock crawling championship here in the
heartland of rock crawling country.
This gorgeous land in the southwest corner of
Colorado was the scene that was set for Pro Rock's wildest shootout
as Pro Rock's Promoter set obstacles that the world's toughest rock
crawlers could not tackle. It's was reported that the Pro Rock
marshals actually eliminated several obstacles when it was
determined that they were near impossible to tackle by the best
rock crawlers in the business.

Bad-Ass/Never Give Up | |
The final day started out tough with Tracy Jordan and
Don, "The Maverick" Robbins leading the competitors through what
has been described as the toughest obstacles in the 2003 Pro Rock
SuperLift Series yet. Competitors remarked that Rock Runner
Racing's, "THE MAVERICK" worked his ass off and displayed,
"just brute strength" as he and Tracy Jordan were first off the
line all day long.
Many of the obstacles had deep holes that THE
MAVERICK filled with boulders and downed logging trees so Tracy
Jordan could run is Twisted Customs Rig in search of a much needed
first place win.
Team All-Pro's Larry McRae said, "Don Robbins is a
stud, as the first spotter on the course, he found rocks and
boulders for everyone all day long. He's an incredible
athlete."
Jason Paule & Travis Wadeson
take second place at Avalanche Ranch. Watch for them at Lucerne
Valley in September while they compete for sole possession of the
second place overall points championship. |
The first obstacle of the day put Team All-Pro in a
bad mood after they failed to finish the obstacle. Several Pro Rock
marshals and judges told them that these obstacles were designed to
"take Tiny out." Larry McRae said they were thoroughly discouraged,
however they continued to fight throughout the competition.
NELSON & NELSON RACING'S
"TINY," RECORDS YET ANOTHER ROCK CRAWLING
CHAMPIONSHIP. |
 | Nelson & Nelson Racing slams
the competition: Jon Nelson is a serious competitor and he expects
to win every single event his team enters. His competition rig,
"Tiny" performed to the highest degree as they captured the Pro
Rock win. |
CONGRATS TO JON NELSON AND HIS
CREW!!!!!! |
Team All-Pro blasted up obstacles taking points,
being disqualified from one obstacle due to going out-of-bounds,
but edging towards the finish of the event. Jon, "The Bull in the
Woods" Bundrant and Larry, "King Full Pull" McRae stacked rocks,
drove hard and literally rocked the professional rock crawling
world with their second series championship in the month of July.
On one obstacle, both, "The Bull in the Woods & King Full Pull,
stacked rocks for 2 minutes of their 9 minute time limit of the
obstacle and they were successful at being the only team to finish
the obstacle.
In the end, it was this dynamic duo that conquered
the rocks of Avalanch Ranch, and also clinched the title spot as
tthe 2003 Pro Rock SuperLift Series Trophy Class Champions even
though the last event is not until September 13th - 14th at Cougar
Buttes in Lucerne Valley.
This 2003 Pro Rock SuperLift Series championship win
in conjunction with their 2003 UROC Pro-National Series Finals
Championship win over the July 4th Holiday Weekend, certainly place
Team All-Pro in a league of their own.
Rumors have been flying throughout
the rock crawling community for months that they were the team to
beat in any rock crawling competition and after being catapulted
into the lead in the 2003 Pro Rock SuperLift Series after the last
event held in Farmington, New Mexico, they had to back it up with
another huge win and they have
succeeded!!!
Larry "King Full Pull," McRae
said, "It's unbelievable! This is a
dream come true for me to be lucky enough to get hooked with this
team. It's just awesome!" |

The Pro Rock SuperLift Series Official Scores will be
posted as soon as made available by the Pro Rock Promoter &
Scoring Officials. Check back soon for a complete rundown of
scores.
King Full Pull in full Johnny G
sideburns mode: Larry McRae has his work cut out for him again as
he stacked more rocks than he has at any of the last four
competitions at this Avalanche Ranch competition. The hard work
paid off as he and The Bull in the Woods captured the
championship. |
Tracy Jordan is a fierce
competitor and you can expect him and THE MAVERICK to complete the
Pro Rock Series in hard banging action as they compete in the
finals in September at Lucerne Valley. |
Expect Tracy and "The Mav" to be in it at the end as
the PRO ROCK Series closes towards the last two events of the
season. The next event will be held at Avalanche Ranch in Colorado
and the final event has been changed from Fernly, California to The
Hammers in Johnson Valley, California not far from the mecca of the
concrete jungles of Southern California.
| No Fat B @
Pro Rock-Avalanch Ranch: Team
Shaffer was without long time spotter, Lance Clifford, also known
as "Fat Bastard," this weekend. However, Mike Shaffer drove his
Summit Racing sponsored rig to a third place position after a rough
weekend of rock crawling. Congrats to Team Shaffer. |
