No special tools are required for rebuilding. QA1 Rock Ends® allow up to 44º of misalignment, with most competitive products offering only up to 30º. 

QA1 Rock Ends® feature forged, heat treated, chromoly steel male and female housings with increased cross sectional thickness for greater tensile strength over other designs.  QA1 replaceable bearing inserts feature a precision ground 52100 bearing steel ball that is heat treated and hard chrome plated for maximum durability. Modular in design, QA1 Rock Ends® with bearing inserts utilize high misalignment spacers to allow for numerous bolt sizes, and provide builders with a wider variety of options than competitive products. QA1 Rock Ends® are also available with wear-resistant bonded rubber bushing inserts. 

QA1’s weldable sleeve style Rock Ends® feature the same replaceable bearing or bushing inserts as the male and female style housings, and are designed for fabricators / builders that require greater flexibility in mounting.
