Big Plans For 2009 American Falls, ID - At a time when motorsports around the world seems to be suffering due to the slow economy, Bully Dog Technologies, a leading manufacturer of performance enhancing products for gas and diesel vehicles has increased its motorsports involvement tenfold. For the past two years Bully Dog has been a big supporter of off-road racing, a form of racing that in the last few months has really struggled with race cancellations and other concerns about what the future held. In recent weeks Bully Dog has taken big steps to ensure that its presence in off-road racing is secure in a time that illustrates just how solid off-road racing is. The first step is Bully Dog’s support of the new Lucas Oil American Off Road Series, which will feature six racing weekends with traditional short course-type classes for 2WD, 4WD, four-cylinder trucks and buggies. A new class will be added for the popular Mazda rotary-powered Super Lite trucks, which feature close racing at a very affordable price. Super Lite will also host an “arrive and drive” option for first-time or part-time competitors. This class will be highly supported and sponsored by Bully Dog, which will be paying a very attractive race and championship purse. The second step is the new, 2009 Bully Dog racing team. Bully Dog has entered into a multi-year agreement with Speed Technologies, the very same team that won Class 1 at the 41st Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 in November 2008, claimed Rookie of the Year honors with driver Chuck Dempsey in Best In The Desert and contested its first full year of short course racing. “I’m very excited to be working with Bully Dog,” Dempsey said. “The company is always going the extra mile for our industry. The way the economy is, it’s great to have them supporting the Speed Technologies race team at this high of a level for a few years. We had a great year in ‘08 with some of our finishes, and look forward to having a better year with Bully Dog and some of our other new sponsors that are on board with the team.” With its sponsorship of the team, Bully Dog will now have a large presence, a fact that the company is very excited about. “I am very happy with what we have put together,” said Mike DeFord of Bully Dog. “The Lucas Oil Series is what the off-road market needs. It will be a tremendous series, we are excited about being involved. The Speed Technologies team will give us the team we have always wanted, great drivers (a full roster of drivers will be announced soon), a talented team and top notch equipment. We will have a strong presence in short course and we will now also be involved in desert racing” stated Mike DeFord of Bully Dog. Bully Dog Technologies, LLC is a team built on integrity that is dedicated to leading the vehicle performance with an uncompromising code of ethics demonstrated in the soundness of its employees, excellent customer service and superior products.
