2007 PRI Show, Orlando, Florida - Weld Racing®, an American Racing® brand, announced the release of Torque-Loc, a new addition to the Dominator Series of lifted off-road truck wheels. Available in 17”, 18”, and 20” diameters with widths of 8.5”, 10”, and 12”, the Torque-Loc can accommodate tires for desert racing, rock crawling, or mud bogging and anything in between. With load ratings to 3200 pounds, the Torque-Loc can match the needs of today’s diesel powered one-ton trucks. With bold and rugged styling, Torque-Loc meets the needs of modern street trucks, working equally as well in the challenging desert stretches of Baja or the high-custom trucks of the show circuit. Hot forged in one-piece construction from a superheated ingot of series 6061 aluminum billet alloy, the Torque-Loc, like all Dominators, offers the greatest strength for powerful, heavy trucks with the ductility to resist damage that would crack or break other wheels. Hot forged 6061 construction offers lower weight for better performance and braking than other wheel types and materials.
Polished to a brilliant, show quality shine, the Torque-Loc is available for a wide range of 5, 6, and 8 lug applications in purpose-designed backspacing for big aggressive tires on lifted trucks. With the perfect combination of fit, appearance, strength, and durability the Dominator Series Torque-Loc is another reason to insist upon authentic Weld Racing® forged wheels, made in the U.S.A.
