The KMC Wheels TROPHYLITE Series presented by KC HiLiTES is proud to announce that motocross freestyle innovator Brian Deegan, X Games announcer Cameron Steele and reigning Tecate SCORE Baja 500 Champion BJ Baldwin will all be competing in TROPHYLITE vehicles at the SNORE KC HiLiTES Midnight Special on Saturday, August 9 in Primm, Nevada.

Deegan has been a freestyle innovator since the origin of the sport as well as being the founder of the Metal Mulisha. He has compiled an impressive 10 X Games medals and two Gravity Games medals. Currently, he competes fulltime in Championship Off-Road Racing Series in the Pro Lite division. Deegan also competes in the X Games and has provided exclusive commentary on ESPN for X Games 13, 14 and the U.S. Navy Moto World Championships. Deegan will pilot the number 6033 Farris Motorsports entry. In addition to driving, Deegan has planned to have 2008 X Games Moto X Freestyle Gold Medalist Jeremy Lusk navigate for a portion of the race.

Steele will be making his second attempt at TROPHYLITE competition and will split driving duties with TROPHYLITE co-founder David Scaroni in the number 6027 entry. Not only will Steele be driving this weekend, but he will also be hosting the new Off-Road USA TV show which will follow TROPHYLITE competition throughout the race. Steele’s time behind the wheel should give the viewer a unique perspective of TROPHYLITE action. Steele and Scaroni will be competing strictly for exhibition and will not be racing for points or money.

Partnering with Randy Blacker in the BFD Racing, Stripperpole.com number 6069 entry will be Trophy Truck phenomenon BJ Baldwin, the 2006 SCORE Trophy Truck Champion and winner of the 2008 Baja 500. Baldwin is a resident of nearby Las Vegas and should have no problem navigating around his way around the tough 50-mile course. The various action sports and off-road celebrities competing this weekend will no doubt have their hands full as an impressive 17 TROPHYLITE vehicles are pre-entered for the race.

After the SNORE KC HiLiTES Midnight Special, TROPHYLITE competitors will return for the Best in the Desert Golden West Cycle Las Vegas 150, October 24-26 followed by the Series finale at the Glen Helen Baja Cup December 12-13.
