From Los Angeles - Take Interstate 10 East to Interstate 15 North. Exit Bear Valley Road (Highway 18) East toward Lucerne. At the stop sign in Lucerne, continue straight onto Highway 247, Old Woman Springs Road. Continue approximately 23 additional miles to the Johnson Valley turn off. You will see signs directing you to the actual event site, which is just beyond Means Dry Lake. Off-Road.com will be camped there in the ORC Ark along with a number of other RVs. Stop by for directions. We'll be monitoring FM Frequency 151.625 and CB Channel 14. From Yucca Valley - Take Hwy 247 (Old Woman Springs Road) out of Yucca Valley and head toward Victorville. About 20 miles out and on your right you will come to the turn off. From there, follow the signs to the event spot. Will you need four-wheel drive? It helps for clearance purposes only. One tip, when driving in sand keep up a reasonable amount of momentum, this helps you " float" on top of the sand instead of sinking in.
