ALLOY USA presents UROC Pro-National Series Final Event

Vernal, Utah - The world champions of professional rockcrawling have converged here in Eastern Utah ready for the battle on the Rocks of Vernal in search of the UROC Pro-National Championship.

Beneath the high clouds of gorgeous sky country, UROC's technical inspection and contingency went off among the Vernal locals in the parking lot of Dave's Jubilee, as the tractor trailers of BFGoodrich, Maxxis and UROC lined the perimeter of UROC's contingency area. The top teams all arrived this afternoon with the most advanced professional rock crawling rigs in rockcrawling motorsports and went through technical inspection without incident.

This final and fifth competition is the culmination of 2005 UROC Pro-National Series where the new UROC National Champion will be crowned.

Leading in the Super Modified Class is the one and only - Shannon Campbell. He arrived to Vernal, Utah on Wednesday evening in his black-on-black Dodge Ram CTD toting his black Featherlite loaded with the powerful Campbell Enterprises-built rock rig. Campbell hit tech and contingency early and took the afternoon to put his rock rig on the rocks and prepare for the march to the championship.

Jennifer Little arrived to Vernal with her gorgeous prepped rock rig sporting the reddest of flames. Always a fan favorite, Jennifer and Todd Little are ready to rock at Vernal.
2004 UROC Pro Nationl Champion Tracy "The Steelhorse Cowboy" Jordan will relinquish the title to a new champion here in 2005. Jordan sits in 7th position in the championship points chase with 486 points to the leader, Shannon Campbell who has 546 points.

UROC CEO - Ranch Pratt conducts technical inspection among the DISCOVERY television crew that flew in from London, England.
Supercrawl Champion - Dean Bulloch was the feature of today's filming.
Lucas Oil's Bob Standage arrived to Vernal with his rock rig in top condition after suffering a big crash at Portland, Indiana last month.
Alloy USA sponsored - Lovell Racing arrived to Vernal and it didn't take long to figure out these guy are ready to fight for the national championship. Brad Lovell said, "Damn, I'm nervous." Lovell Racing is tied with Brian Errea/Joachim Schwiesow at 552 points in first place for the Modified Stock Division. In the 2004 season, Lovell Racing entered the last event of the season with a big lead in the UROC Extreme Series, however they have found the competition in the nation's top series, UROC Pro National Series, to be more difficult. Rock Runner Racing's Brian Errea and Joachim Schwiesow have championship winning experience, however they'll face tough competition from Lovell Racing who charging towards their first ever UROC Pro-National Championship.

Joachim Schwiesow and his driver, Brian Errea, are ready to fight for the UROC Pro National Championship against Lovell Racing. Schwiesow said, "We are looking for a little luck in the draw and weather conditions here in Vernal. If it rains as predicted, anything can happen."
 
Nick Sessions, back-up driver of Carnage Crew Racing is here in Vernal to drive the Mastercraft Seat moon buggy, as Aaron Dusenbery is suffering from some chronic back pain. Sessions will be led through the obstacles by Mastercraft Racing's Jason Hensel.

RAIN is in the forecast for Saturday's Final Event in Vernal - Contingency and Tech was drenched by a huge summer afternoon rain storm that hammered the area. Ranch Pratt told us that his last check with weather experts predicted rain during Saturday's final day of competition. With the stakes of the National Championship at hand, it may be the Weather Gods have plans to tame the nation's top teams in the deep silty rocks of Vernal, Utah.
