Vernal, Utah - The world champions of professional rockcrawling have converged here in Eastern Utah ready for the battle on the Rocks of Vernal in search of the UROC Pro-National Championship. Beneath the high clouds of gorgeous sky country, UROC's technical inspection and contingency went off among the Vernal locals in the parking lot of Dave's Jubilee, as the tractor trailers of BFGoodrich, Maxxis and UROC lined the perimeter of UROC's contingency area. The top teams all arrived this afternoon with the most advanced professional rock crawling rigs in rockcrawling motorsports and went through technical inspection without incident. This final and fifth competition is the culmination of 2005 UROC Pro-National Series where the new UROC National Champion will be crowned. Leading in the Super Modified Class is the one and only - Shannon Campbell. He arrived to Vernal, Utah on Wednesday evening in his black-on-black Dodge Ram CTD toting his black Featherlite loaded with the powerful Campbell Enterprises-built rock rig. Campbell hit tech and contingency early and took the afternoon to put his rock rig on the rocks and prepare for the march to the championship.
