Signal Hill, California - So you
want to be a racer, huh? Grab your best thinking brain cells and
head to PCI Race Radio for a session with one of
SCORE-International's top racing personalilties, Scott Steinberger.
Known throughout the desert racing community as "Scotty," he has
one thing on his mind when he sits behind the wheel of his 800
horsepower FabTech sponsored trophy truck and that's
either Win or Wad!

Mash the peddle and let's finish the race and see
where we end up!
Although, Scotty is one of the nicest guys outside of
that FabTech trophy truck, he's one of the most fierce desert
racers in the world when put behind the wheel of a race truck.
Growing up in the desert racing community under the
tutulioge of Bob "WeatherMan" Steinberger, a desert racer himself,
Scott brings everything he has at every single race he enters. His
constant motivation and determined attitude to win each and every
race is prevelant when you just hang around his shop as the PCI
Racing Trophy Truck goes under the knife of Crew Chief - BizKit.
Known in the desert racing community as "BizKit," Jason Briscoe has
more experience ten others all combined. Joining the PCI Race Team
after years of experience working for the Terrible Herbst Race
Team, BizKit's "way" is a perfect blend of let's get the job done
the right way and win this race.
Combined with Scotty is his race partner-Jesse Jones.
This team is staged for a big win in 2004. After dominating desert
racing in other classes throughout the years, Scott and Jesse
joined forces for the Trophy Truck program in 2003. They are a
force to be reckoned with.
Whether he's pushing Jet Blue around an Mojave Desert
Racing course or he's blazing miles at the Baja 1000, this desert
racer brings everything he has all the time.
Desertbull had a chance to catch up with Scott just
before he left for a week of prerunning for the Baja 500 and he had
some things to say.
"We are out of the points race for 2004, so we have a
new attitude about this race. We will finish this race and we will
be competitive!" said Scott. "Our tactics have changed for the
better just slightly and those other guys will know we are
there."
"We've got Jesse Jones, Dane Cardone, Dana Nicholson,
myself and my crew chief and primary co-driver, BizKit, for this
race and we are prepared for everything."
Scott let the cat out of the bag about a new Geiser
Bros. Trophy Truck that his race team partner-Jesse Jones is
building for the 2005 desert racing season. The truck is said to be
ready for the 2005 Laughlin Desert Challenge.
Both Scotty and Jesse are heavily involved in the new
design, although the Geiser Bros. have been building winning Trophy
Trucks for many years. With this kind of brain trust expect the
newest PCI Racing Trophy Truck to rage with the best in the
business.
The entire PCI Race team has been hard at work
prerunning in Baja and wrenching on the PCI Race Trophy Truck.
The 2004 Baja 500 will be the race where PCI Racing
debuts the latest in creative paint schemes. Scotty was nice enough
to share the first shots of a photo shoot that FABTECH arranged
with the new paint design.
PCI Racing has a host of dedicated sponsors that
include FABTECH, BFGoodrich, Borla, Hella, Sign Methods, F&L
Fuel, MoMo, Sign Pros, MasterCraft Seats, FleshGear and
Off-Road.com.
