The Baja 500 fiesta in downtown Ensenada has
kicked off underneath a layer of cool gray clouds here on this
small town nestled on the Pacific Coast. The usual cast of

Baja's most legendary King's of the Desert, "Coco."
He drove in from the famous Coco's Corner situated
between Bahia de Gonzaga and Bahia de Los Angeles with truck load
of Coco's Corner t-shirts. As the Team ORC arrived to contingency,
we were greeted with the non-stop excitement associated with this
Baja Peninsula legend.
The Tecate Girls have also arrived after a long
night of performances out at the Horsepower Ranch, located
approximately 9 kilometers outside of Ensenada. The likes Malcolm
Smith, Bruce Meyers, Bilstein's Doug Robertson, and Ron Bishop
rubbed elbows with Ivan "Ironman" Stewart and Larry Ragland as the

long. Visit www.off-road.com/race/2003score/baja500/horsepower.html
