Date Set for the 2011 Monster Energy USGP at Glen Helen

Dec. 15, 2010 By Press Release
San Bernardino, California - The prestigious FIM-sanctioned 2011 Monster Energy United States Grand Prix will return to Glen Helen Raceway on May 14-15, 2011.

Located in the heart of Southern California, the epicenter of the American motocross industry, Glen Helen Raceway provides race fans more than just world-class racing - it creates a complete motocross experience second to none.

The 2010 event featured one of the most challenging tracks of the season. The 2011 event will once again showcase a world-class track layout that will be the perfect platform for top American racers to do battle with the rest of the world's best motocrossers.  Glen Helen, America's Playground in Southern California, is known as the premier track in the United States for good reason - the daunting hills are spectacular and a worthy challenge for the top-level racers, and the rest of the track is a mixture of technical sections, huge jumps, and of course, the infamous "Talladega" high banked first turn.

Glen Helen also offers the only amateur day at any world grand prix event

This race will be "The Event" of 2011 Motocross, with numerous activities going on throughout the course of the weekend. Motocross stars from all over the globe will meet to prove who is the best in both the MX1 and MX2 classes.  Glen Helen raceway, nestled between two major interstates, is extremely easy to access and features unlimited easy parking and amenities. There will be numerous ticket packages available around the first of the year with significant discounts available for early-buy ticket purchases. More to come on camping reservations as well.
