Beside the carburated engines IH offered diesel engines too. These were very popular in Europe. The engines are either a 92hp 198cid Inline-6 or the same engine as Turbo-diesel with 101hp. Engines came from Nissan/Datsun who used the same engine in their Patrol 4x4's. These engines are very reliable although not overly powerful. But they get great mileage. Parts should be available through any Nissan dealer.
