After Jason Voss earned the opening Best in the Desert race to kick off the year in Parker, and then Bryce Menzies earned the win at the Mint 400 in Vegas, it was yet another race winner for the Silver State 300 when TJ Flores earned the victory in Eastern Nevada.

Although Trick Truck driver Flores earned the win, he had to battle with Class 1500 driver Justin Lofton from early on with Lofton being out front in clear air. Flores was able to earn the victory on corrected time with a final race time of 5:26:26. Lofton finished second overall and first in Class 1500 with a time of 5:27:47. Gary Weyhrich and Steve Strobel earned second and third in Trick Truck, respectively. Shelby Reid earned second in Class 1500, while Garick Freitas rounded out the podium in third finishing just two second behind Reid.
