Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Wraps Up in Vegas

Carl Renezeder (17) and Rodrigo Ampudia (38) air it out early in the race at Round 14. Renezeder fell back in the pack later in the race, but Ampudia held on to finish in third place in Pro 2 Unlimited.

After a great day of racing on Saturday for Round 13, Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing wrapped up its weekend of racing at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway today for Round 14. With only once regular season race remaining on the schedule, the point battles were tightening up in every class as racers vie for the season championship.

The Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series will wrap up its final round of regular season racing at Firebird Raceway on Saturday, December 10, which will be followed on Sunday, December 11, by the all-out Lucas Oil Off-Road Cup Challenge.

Carl Renezeder (17) took the inside line to pass Kyle LeDuc (99) in the second half of the Pro 4 race on Sunday.

With Renezeder taking the win, it was down to Kyle and Todd LeDuc to battle it out. Kyle was able to edge out Todd in the final turn to finish in second place.

Rob Naughton stuck with Rob MacCachren to earn second place in Pro 2 before the sun went down.
