The racing was tight in all classes throughout the day, with racers looking to earn that final paycheck before the end of the season.

The entire Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series came down to one day of all-out cup races with huge payouts at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park. With the class championships already decided, the final race of the season for each class would be a battle for cash – as much as $30,000 for first place in the Pro 2 vs. Pro 4 Cup.

The final race of the day was certainly exciting in the Pro 2 vs. Pro 4 Cup. Robby Woods (99) appeared to be on his way to a $30,000 payday until he was Eric Barron went too hard into the final turn and took him out. Barron was assessed a black flag penalty for the incident, but it opened the door for Brian Deegan (38) to sneak in to earn the win. Woods did still finish in second place and earned $15,000 for his effort.

Justin “Bean” Smith earned the victory in the Pro Lite Cup and the $10,000 check.
