Rock Runner Racing Announces Addition to Team

New Recruit

After placing eighth in XRRA’s Western Division this season and fifth
in last year’s XRRA finals, Rock Runner Racing’s Joachim Schwiesow was conspicuously absent from the 2008 XRRA finals in Jellico, Tennessee. While other teams were doubling checking bolts and tire pressure, Schwiesow was checking on his wife Kimberly.

Kimberly gave birth to the couple’s fourth child early on Wednesday, September 24th. Landon Schwiesow is the newest Rock Runner Racing team member at 7 pounds, 15 ounces and 21 inches long. Both Landon and Kimberly are healthy and receiving plenty of care and attention by Schwiesow’s entire family, and particularly his three daughters, Kaylie, Maygie, and Lydia.

After strong finishes in the W.E. ROCK rockcrawling series and XRRA rock racing, Rock Runner Racing is headed back to the shop for the off-season. In addition to building entirely new vehicles for the team, members of Rock Runner Racing will also be making appearances at the Off-Road Expo and SEMA Show during the winter.
