Aug. 12, 2010 By Press Release
BARK RIVER, Mich. – Green Bay Packer legend LeRoy Butler will be at Bark River International Raceway Saturday when the Traxxas TORC Series Presented by AMSOIL returns to the challenging track this weekend.
Butler, a second-round draft pick for the Packers in 1990, was a four-time Pro Bowler, including both years the team played in the Super Bowl at the end of the 1996 and 1997 NFL seasons. The defensive back finished his career after playing in 181 games with a total of 721 tackles, 38 interceptions, and 20.5 sacks. Even with those impressive stats, Butler will always be remembered in Packers’ lore as the first player to do the “Lambeau Leap.”
He will be at the track Saturday at The Hill courtesy of Mr. Tire and will sign autographs and talk to the fans from 2-5 p.m.
