RZR YardsaleThe quickest way for a UTV jump to go wrong is a bad take off.

A poor take off typically results in a failed jump and usually a crash, and such was the case for this fella.  We’d file this in the “worst case scenario” file.  He didn’t just come up short or land nose down. He had a straight up yardsale!

Maverick X3
For those who dare, the rock holes dubbed “hot tubs” along Devil’s Highway in Moab, Utah, provide plenty of thrills.  This Maverick X3 was doing pretty good until he got sideways while rolling backwards.

rzr crash scenario
If you’re going to try crazy things in a UTV, chances are pretty good eventually you’ll push the limit too far. This Polaris RZR crash could have been so much worse, but fortunately for him he had a soft landing.

Muddy RZR roll
Any hill climb presents its own unique challenges.  Trying to make it up a muddy hill climb is asking for trouble. This guy charged hard, but in the end the the hill prevailed.

Sandcar UTV crash
This video serves as a good reminder to always be attentive when riding, especially in the dunes.  It’s hard to see, much less steer, when your wheels are off the ground and this sand car and UTV collision probably could have been avoided.

UTV Whiplash
Anyone that’s ever jumped a motorcycle, ATV or UTV knows that coming up short on a double is usually a pretty painful experience. Well, if you ask these guys, coming up short on a table top can be pretty painful as well. We’re betting they paid a visit to a chiropractor and were diagnosed with a severe case of UTV whiplash.

Biggest Crashes
We expect to see major carnage on some of those crazy hill climbs down south or even out in the dunes where people are skying their side-by-sides. But no doubt that when it comes to the off-road environment it’s the little bumps that cause the biggest crashes. This guy was just staying on the gas and his machine was having no part of it.

First Time RZR Driver Feature
We’re not sure if it’s the roll cage or what, but for some reason first-time SXS drivers always seem to get a little in over their head.  They seem to be of the mindset that they can just press the gas and go wherever they want and the SXS will just respond.  This guy appears to be of that mindset. Check out the end result below:

YXZ Front Flip Feature
Every once in a while we’ll run across a photo or video that leaves us utterly dumbfounded.  This particular video invokes so many emotions it’s hard to know just how we feel about it.  One minute we’re cursing the driver because (more than once) he seems like he has no clue what he’s doing.  Then we’re on our feet shouting for him to keep going because he just pulled out the save of the century. Check out this ultimate UTV fail that somehow turned out to be an amazing save.
