St. Louis, Mo. – After the first five events primarily on the west coast, SPEED Energy Stadium SUPER Trucks brought the 600 hp high flying machines inside the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Mo., for a night of urban off-road action. Rob MacCachren, Aaron Basl, and Sheldon Creed were able to conquer the multiple challenges of the tacky Missouri clay to record wins in Round No. 6 of SST Competition.
Rob MacCachren, of Las Vegas, Nev., driving the No. 21 Traxxas truck made a late race pass to en route to capturing his third SPEED Energy Stadium SUPER Trucks win of the season.
The 18-Lap SPEED Energy Stadium SUPER Trucks final began from a staggered start and saw first place starter Arie Luyendyk Jr. of Scottsdale, Ariz., jump out to the early lead ahead of SST newcomer Keegan Kincaid.
On Lap-2, the No. 25 Team Arie truck would find trouble completing just one of the corners and slipping back multiple positions. Kincaid would inherit the lead in front of Iron River, Mich., native Nick Baumgartner.
