SCORE-Logo-12-20-11SAN DIEGO — Saving his best performance for his second-straight season-ending Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 victory, Las Vegas’ B.J. Baldwin has risen from this year’s dusty desert battles with the world’s best desert racers to earn his second straight SCORE Overall season point championship as well as he fourth SCORE Trophy Truck class point title in the last eight years.

Entering the season-finale at the legendary Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 in fourth place in his class points, Baldwin drove solo brilliantly over the brutally-rugged 883.1-mile course across the northern part of Mexico’s majestic Baja California peninsula, to win the iconic race that was held on a course that was generally called the roughest loop course in the 46-year history of the event.
