Minneapolis, Minn., Oct. 23, 2012 – William Yokley and his National Guard / Polaris / Coastal / Yoshimura / DragonFire /Yokley Racing RZR XP 900 took the GNCC “Open Modified” UTV Championship for fourth consecutive year with Yokley’s teammate, Scott Kiger in his National Guard / Polaris / Coastal / Yoshimura / Yokley Racing RZR XP 900 taking second. RZRs proved to be a dominant force in the class taking the top five spots for the season.

The last UTV race of the season, The Amsoil Ironman, saw three RZRs on the podium for the “Open Modified” class with Yokley taking top honors. Teammate, Kiger, had an unfortunate incident where a tree became lodged between his wheel and frame leaving him in last after the first lap. Kiger was able to pick cars off one-by-one for the remainder of the race to finish fourth and seal second place for the year.

“We would like to congratulate William and Scott on another awesome GNCC side-by-side racing season,” said Donna Beadle, race team manager for Polaris Racing. “They made it an exciting season and once again, brought home the championship.”

Minneapolis– Best in the Desert’s Vegas to Reno race is the longest and toughest, off-road desert race in the U.S., and Polaris RZRs continued to have success despite the many challenges the course threw at them.

In the starting field of more than 20 side-by-sides for the 534-mile race, was Jagged X’s Brandon Schueler with co-pilot Cody Muir in the No. 1919 RZR XP 4 900, Jagged X’s Matt Parks, Jason Spiess and Landon Kobruck and the No. 1932 RZR XP 4 900, Jagged X’s Bill Schueler and Polaris Marketing and Sales Director Craig Scanlon in the almost-stock 1991 RZR XP 4 900, and Scott Kiger’s Holz Coastal Racing No. 1934 RZR XP driven by Kiger, Mark Holz and William Yokley.

Mitch Guthrie – 1st Overall at 2012 UTV King of The Hammers

Mitch Guthrie, #555 took the overall win at 2012 UTV King of the Hammers in his Polaris RZR XP.  Guthrie ran a flawless race, keeping a fast pace that gained momentum with each race mile.  Todd Stephenson in the #1944 Artic Cat Wildcat took 2nd, making it an impressive first run for the Artic Cat Wildcat.

Kane Fraser, a paraplegic, decided to take on the 2011 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 in a Polaris RZR XP 900 after watching Dust to Glory multiple times and being inspired by the Man in Motion, Rick Hansen. “This was our first Baja 1000, our first time racing, and for me my first time racing in any sport ever,” said Kane Fraser.  The team would add over 100 miles to their total mileage after a wrong turn, and in turn would add hundreds of followers as they headed towards their ceremonial finish at 2am Sunday morning, 36 hours after the start Friday afternoon. “We wanted to finish, we didn’t care, nothing would stop us.  We kept going and did finish! We were a little bug eyed, but we finished,” said Heino Seibert from Spectra Power Sports, Kane Frasers Co-Driver.   Kane Fraser went into this adventure with three goals, “In terms of what I wanted to accomplish, for me number one was to raise $25,000 for the Rick Hansen Foundation.  Second, is to create awareness of the abilities of people with disabilities.  And third, to inspire one disabled person to really move ahead with their goals and strive to achieve their goals, because as long as you try and try you will succeed, you just have to keep moving forward.”

Over the Holidays of 2010 Fraser was watching Dust to Glory when he told his wife Cara that this is what he wanted to do next.  She was less than enthused, but he was reminded what his friend Dennis Beebe had often said, “It is not about the disability, it is about the possibilities.” He enlisted the help of his friends, and with never even being in the desert, much less racing, they set off on this awesome journey.  “We were super naive, but we learned a lot along the way, and got laughed at a lot which was fun,” Kane said with a smile. “In the eleven months prior to the race, a lot of people helped 1802 work towards the goal, even up to the day before in Ensenada when we were working on the RZR.  Without all the help from these people the team would have been less prepared and may not have completed the race.  I would just like to thank everyone on the team for the contributions, it took all of us to make this happen!”

PRP Seats now has a full line of accessories available to outfit the Polaris RZR.  It doesn’t matter whether you own a RZR, RZR-S, XP, or the RZR4.  PRP has something for your vehicle to increase the style and convenience. PRP’s line of accessories includes seats, harnesses, mounts, and bags.

If you’re looking for the ultimate in seating comfort, PRP has four different seats available to fit the RZR.  The RZR GT Highback, which includes large slots for easy seat belt removal and also a slot to reach the rear seat latch, offers the utmost in style and convenience.  The rear Bench seat offered by PRP allows you to optimize the amount of room in the back of your RZR4 so you can include all the kids on the next ride.  The 50/50 Front Bench seat is the best of both worlds and allows you to have the containment of a suspension seat while still having the shoulder room you need.  The 50/50 Bench is also much easier to install and remove then other bench seats on the market.  One person can easily do the job.  Last but not least is the RZR Highback, this seat is the one that started it all!  This is your traditional suspension style seat that includes slots for harnesses and a great containment with the side bolsters keeping you planted in the car.  All of our seating options provide more occupant room than any of the competitor’s suspension seats.

To keep your seats in the car, PRP has developed a line of seat mounts that allow you to replace the factory bases and have a steel mount that won’t break.  PRP can also include a sliding seat mount if you need to be a little closer to the peddles and wheel.

If you’re like us and like to take more stuff with you than there is room for, take a look at the storage bags that PRP has available.  With three different options you’re sure not to have to leave anything at home again.

If you want the ultimate performance from your RZR, you need the durability and performance that King Shocks can provide.

Two Brothers Racing recently announces the release of its 2011 Polaris Ranger RZR800 Triple M7 Full Exhaust System. Three mufflers is a unique design, but the company says it discovered that the powerful big twin in Ranger RZR is really, really loud when you uncork it with a standard racing exhaust system. The solution is the triple canister system shown. Two Brothers says with three mufflers you have all the power increase advantages of a free-flowing racing exhaust system but the sound output is nicely muted. And the looks are stunning.

Whether you are on the racetrack, trail riding, woods riding or just having fun in the sand this triple exhaust performs. Performance gains are seen and felt in every part of the powerband. We are sure that when you pull this exhaust system out of the box, install it on your ATV, and feel the performance you will agree that it is The Absolute Top Level™.

Through extensive testing and racing developments we have produced a winning combination of Top Level Performance with our new RZR Triple M-7 Exhaust System. This system comes supplied with 3 Sound Suppression P1-X PowerTips that will keep this in check.

Two Brothers Racing’s new RZR800 systems feature the same high-quality components, materials, design and construction you’ve come to expect from the Absolute Top Level supplier. Get up close and personal with these new systems at your local TBR Dealer, or visit www. twobros.com.
