Coming just days after releasing its 2013 event schedule, the Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Racing Series today announced new corporate partnerships with Polaris and Walker Evans Racing designed to launch a production- based UTV class for the growing, grassroots-based form of motorsports.

The newly created Stock RZR XP class will focus on budget-minded racers being able to compete in off-road short course racing using the high-performance, two-seat Polaris RZR XP 900 sport UTVs directly from the showroom floor. In order to enhance competition and keep costs down, the only modifications allowed will be mandatory safety cages and optional bolt-on performance items.

For 2013 Lucas Oil welcomes both Polaris and Walker Evans Racing as sponsors of the Stock RZR XP class for the Southern California series. The new racing category, however, will be incorporated into all three of the Lucas Oil regional off-road series, including Arizona and Utah.

Medina, MN. (July 11, 2011) – With today’s  Ethanol blended fuels, it is critical to treat the fuel used in  vehicles that see limited or intermittent use with a quality fuel  stabilizer and carbon clean. Polaris Fuel Stabilizer and Carbon Clean  are designed and tested by  the engineers at Polaris Industries to address the negative effects of today’s fuels as well as prevent fuel degradation in all Polaris vehicles.

Fuel Stabilizer- Ethanol-blended fuels such as E10 are more likely to contain water and can start to go bad as soon as they enter your fuel tank. With vehicles that see limited or intermittent use the moisture content in fuel can surpass the fuel’s ability to hold the water. When this happens, water will separate and pool in the lowest parts of the fuel system resulting in problems such as hard starting, no starting and corrosion. Polaris Fuel Stabilizer addresses the negative aspects of this process known as phase separation. In short, it is an inexpensive way to protect your Polaris vehicles.

Carbon Clean- Polaris Carbon Clean is a complete fuel treatment and fuel system cleaner combination. It treats fuel for storage or for vehicles that see intermittent use and removes moisture from fuel. It is designed to address today’s modern Ethanol-blended fuels that tend to absorb moisture easier than non-blended fuels. Polaris Carbon Clean also cleans valves, sticky rings and carbon deposits. It contains dispersants that break down carbon molecules that build up on internal engine parts and allow them to be burned in the engine and expelled through the exhaust.

Polaris Fuel Stabilizer and Carbon Clean are available at all Polaris dealerships. For more information please visit www.purepolarisoil.com.
