In Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad, players race four-wheeled, 800-horsepower offroad race trucks with tons of options, as well as a wide load-out of vehicle classes including Rally Cars, Pro Buggies and Pro Lite Trucks.  Eight-player multiplayer boasts dynamic interactions between all competing vehicles so players can see and feel the impact of mid-race collisions. Career mode follows Jeremy’s bid for the Pro2 championship within the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.  All this arcade racing action takes place inside a persistent game world that presents challenge after challenge at 60 frames per second in crispy 1080p.

Los Angeles, CA –On the heels of the excitement of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) event at the Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino a few weekends ago, 2XL Games revealed more information and a first look at its upcoming video game Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad. Highlighting seven-time AMA supercross champion Jeremy McGrath’s latest venture into four-wheel off road racing, this high-octane, track-tearing racer will speed onto consoles this summer from Reverb Publishing on PlayStationNetwork and on Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft from D3Publisher.

“I’m a huge fan of gaming and always have been, and being able to represent my transition from Supercross to off road racing in a game is an awesome opportunity,” said Jeremy McGrath. “Having seen the work that 2XL Games has done with racing games in the past with Rainbow Studios and more, they are the perfect team to work with to create a fast-paced, intense racing experience that I know fans will love!”

A few weeks back, we published a story in the Off-Road.com Blog about a new video game launched at the E3 gaming tradeshow called Off-Road Drive. The game, which will be available for Xbox 360 and PCs, just launched its new website today, featuring game trailer and information about the game and its features.

As the website explains, “Off-Road Drive features Off-Road Drive lets players participate in various international competitions never seen before in a video game. All virtual contests are the exact duplicates of the real ones, including various extreme driving and use of the rules established by the international auto sports federations.”

1C Company is currently developing a new off-road simulator game called Off-Road Drive, which will be available for PC and Xbox 360 late in 2010.

The game designers say is a “the first game ever to deliver a true-to-life, off-road, extreme racing experience.” European game developer 1C Company says that players will compete in events such as The Russian trophy, Off-Road Trial, Thai Trophy and many other events. Drivers will have to navigate tough driving conditions while tackling natural obstacles like swamps, rocks, snow and sand, while driving stock SUVs and trucks, as well as several classes of prototypes specifically built for off-road driving. The vehicles can be equipped with an assortment of special cross-country equipment and accessories including winches, low gear, differential gear locking, GPS, clinometer, altimeter, tire air pressure control, sand tracks, etc.

PlayStation 3 Motorstorm ApocalypseAlthough Game 7 of the Lakers and Celtics series is the big show in Los Angeles today, the E3 gaming convention (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is also wrapping up in LA today after running from the 15-17 of June at the Los Angeles Convention Center. A number of new video game platforms and systems were released or announced at the show, including motion-detecting video game systems that allow you to steer a car without needing a controller, and Sony also released a new trailer for its newest off-road racing game Motorstorm Apocalypse.
