It’s one thing to smash the gas pedal, hold it wide open and hope for the best. But there’s an art to making the transition as clean and smooth as possible as this Toyota pre-runner does. Watch and learn folks.
Back in 2015, Toyota decided to take its TRD offerings a step further by offering new TRD Pro models, which were unveiled on the Tundra, 4Runner and Tacoma of that year. The Tacoma was as close to a no-brainer as you could get considering Toyota told us at that time that nearly 40 percent of its trucks were sold with a Sport or Off-Road TRD package. The only problem for the Tacoma is 2015 was the last year of the prior generation, so the Tacoma TRD Pro was short lived. Although TRD Pro Tundra and 4Runner models were announced for 2016, there was no sign of a new TRD Pro Tacoma – until now.

TORRANCE, Calif. — The Toyota Racing Dream Build Challenge, having already donated $50,000 to winner Kyle Busch’s charity and another $50,000 split among the other three teams’ charities, has one more big prize to give to a lucky fan: The Toyota Racing Dream Trip Grand Prize. That fan is Christina R. from Buckeye, Arizona, Toyota announced today.
Christina will receive her choice of either a NASCAR or NHRA race event experience, both of which were exclusively tailored for the Dream Build Challenge. But she leaves little doubt what her likely choice will be.
“We’re huge into Sprint Cup,” said Christina. “We like all the Toyota drivers [and] we’re huge fans of Kyle Busch.”
