Some of the best opportunities for carnage come from people overdoing it on man-made obstacles. There’s nothing overly complex about this Jeep teeter totter; it’s just that this fella got a little overzealous on his exit and he wound up paying for it. This weekend on Saturday, July 14th, the San Gabriel Canyon OHV Area will be opening a a new Off Road Obastacle Course (O.R.O.C). Along with the new obstacle course there will also be a new Kiddie ATV Course. The festivities for the event will kick off when the gates open at 8 a.m., with opening ceremonies beginning at 10 a.m.
The grand opening will feature a BBQ sponsored by Falken Tire, with water and sodas donated by the Office of Assemblyman Hernandez. Tax deductible sponsorship packages to support the park are available, and donations are always welcome.
Directions: Exit 210 Freeway in Azuza Canyon, go north on Azuza Ave (Hwy 39) toward the mountains. Head 15 miles into the Angeles National Forest and past the East Fork Bridge approximately a half mile. The entrance to the San Gabriel OHV area will be on the right.
