San Diego, CA – Motorsports production powerhouse Mad Media, led by directing team “The Martelli Brothers,” announced the premiere date for their documentary-style TV program covering The 2016 Polaris RZR Mint 400 presented by BFGoodrich Tires.
At the 2016 running of the Best in the Desert (BITD) BlueWater Resort & Casino Parker “425” presented by Impact, racers will be greeted with an all-new starting format. The day’s first race will feature classes 1000, 1100, 1200, 1700,1800, 2000, 2400, 3000, 3700, 6000 and 8100 This group of race vehicles will stage 5:15 AM Saturday morning, February 6th, at the “Parker Python,” adjacent to the main pit located just outside downtown Parker. These classes will then start the race, beginning at 6:00 a.m. Some of these classes will compete for two laps, with the remaining classes running three laps. This first race will feature a Gran Prix Finish, which means when the overall leader receives the checkered flag, all others crossing the finish line after that will also receive the checkered regardless of how many laps they have completed.
The second race of the day will feature the Trick Truck class, along with classes 1500, 6100, 7200 and 8000. These racers will stage at 12 noon at the “Parker Python.” From there, they will be escorted to the starting line located on California Ave. in the middle of downtown Parker. The winner of the Time Trials will get the solo green flag start at 1:30 PM. The rest of the field will start one at a time at 30-second intervals following that. All of these racers will compete for three laps with no Gran Prix Finish.
(Agua Dulce, Calif.): The pre-registration program for the 2016 NORRA Mexican 1000 allows competitors to secure their race number and starting position early with flexible payment options. Those competitors who pay in full at any time during pre-registration (September 15th – December 31st 2015) will be able to select their room in Bahia de Los Angeles until they are sold out. In keeping with NORRA tradition, registration will open at noon (PST) January 1st 2016 with no deposit or payments plans available and the remainder (*if any) of the Bahia de Los Angeles rooms will released in the order that registrations are completed at that time.
San Felipe, Mexico — Looking to add to his record-setting class win total, SoCal’s veteran age-group motorcycle racer Jim O’Neal will ride in two classes to lead 64racers who have combined for 159 class wins among nearly 200 racers entered in Saturday’s 28th Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250 desert race. O’Neal, 67, the noted apparel manufacturer from Simi Valley, Calif., will be an additional rider in both Class 30 and Class 60 in the season-opener of the five-race 2014 SCORE World Desert Championship series.

The festivities and race will take place in the town of Parker, Arizona. The field is packed this year in all classes and those who are racing with BFGoodrich Tires will be pushing a wide variety of tire designs to their limits. Racing three laps of the 150-mile course, the drivers, vehicles and tires will cover a range of terrain types. SAN DIEGO — This weekend’s Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo and the Granddaddy of all desert races have joined forces to again present “SCOREville” – an exciting, expansive exhibit this weekend in Building 5 at the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif., dedicated to saluting legends of SCORE Baja racing in honor of November’s 46th Anniversary of the legendary Tecate SCORE Baja 1000.
In addition to static displays of vintage and current desert racing vehicles along with autograph sessions with many of the stars of the sport, both past and present, a live drawing for starting positions for the Nov. 13–17 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 desert race will be held at the Off-Road Expo on Saturday, starting at 3pm.
The official course map for the race will also be unveiled on Saturday as well by SCORE CEO/President Roger Norman to begin the drawing event.

Fish, the godfather of desert racing who last month sold his iconic original SCORE International racing organization to former racer Roger Norman, will oversee a crowd of several hundred expected on Saturday to salute the champions of the 2012 SCORE Desert Series, a limited number of tickets remain available for the 2012 SCORE Awards Night, honoring the world’s foremost desert racing series.
