There has been a lot of negative press for off-road racing in general after the recent accident at the MDR California 200, but the off-road industry has rallied after the accident to help raise money for the families of casualties and those injured at the race.

According to Fast Aid, a non-profit agency set up in 2009 to aid injured racers and families affected by off-road accidents, the off-road community has banned together to raise over $107,000 within one week, though they are still working toward a goal of $75,000+ away from reaching their estimated needed to assist those affected by the accident.
