AMA-logo-230PICKERINGTON, Ohio — The thrilling handlebar-to-handlebar racing action of the AMA Vintage Dirt Track National Championship Series wraps up its 2013 season with a two-round doubleheader on Sept. 21-22 at the Oakland Valley Race Park in Cuddebackville, N.Y.

The popular series features period-correct vintage dirt-track motorcycles from a wide range of eras, dating to the earliest years of the sport to modern times.

“The AMA’s history in dirt-track racing dates to original factory Class-A competition in the 1920s,” said AMA Track Racing Manager Ken Saillant. “This sport’s roots run deep for motorcycling in general and the AMA specifically. It’s our honor to pay tribute to the great motorcycles and motorcycle racers of the past.”

Geico-Endurocross-New-4-10-13Irvine, CA – The opening round of the 2013 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship, fueled by Monster Energy and presented by Lucas Oil will take place in Las Vegas this Friday, May 3rd during the Monster Energy AMA Supercross finals weekend. If you have never been to an EnduroCross, you need to get out to Las Vegas early and witness some of the most exciting racing you will ever see. The track map reveals the “usual” brutal mix of rocks, logs, sand, tractor tires, jumps, and berms that challenge the skills of the world’s best off-road motorcycle racers. Add in a water pit that makes all of the obstacles more challenging as the water gets dragged around the track and you have a recipe for crazing racing.
