Los Angeles, CA – While at the Summer 2012 X Games, pulling TV for ESPN and doing requisite media, Jeremy McGrath announced, that thanks in great part to the efforts of Be The Match and its Registry, his wife Kim has found a marrow donor.

Surviving breast cancer two years ago, in May of this year, Kim McGrath was diagnosed with Leukemia.

Her treatment – immediate chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. Quickly, Jeremy and Kim moved into action:  Kim — undergoing chemo and enduring month long hospital stays and Jeremy – spearheading close to 40 marrow drives and fundraisers.

The Lucas Oil Off-Road Race Series at Speedworld, in Surprise Arizona, will host a Marrow Donor Drive this weekend for 7-time Supercross Champ Jeremy McGrath’s wife, Kim.  Race fans between the ages of 18-45 can take a very simple test, which will put them into the bethematch.org marrow registry.

As many of you know, Kim McGrath is in need of a marrow match and the search continues.

Please come by and take the time to take the test, it really is just a simple mouth swab.  Jeremy McGrath, plus many of the superstars of the offroad racing world, competing in  Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, will be on hand at the donation center throughout the weekend.

The donation and testing center will be located in the Lucas Oil Vendor area from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm both Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20, 2012.
