truck jumpThis guy really wanted a big truck jump, but it looks like he got more than he bargained for.

Cased itIt can be hard to gauge how fast you need to hit a jump to safely hit the landing, and this guy’s gauge is just off.

Dune collision
While it appears that no one was injured in this crazy dune jump collision, this video serves as a reminder to always have a spotter when jumping in the dunes.  It could have been much worse.

Worcs Lagoon Jump
The WORCS Racing lagoon jump is one of the most infamous obstacle from the entire series. It has claimed countless victims over the years, and this slow-motion video pretty much highlights exactly why it’s garnered such a reputation.

Flying Jeep Cherokee
Cars weren’t made to fly, but we don’t think you could convince this guy of that. Check out this insane Jeep Grand Cherokee jump at an event. Nothing like over-shooting the landing. If this were the NFL, he’d need to enter concussion protocol for having his bell rung.

Jeep Cherokee Jump Water
We’ve seen some great Jeep Cherokee jumps in our day, but we’ve never seen one completely submerged in water upon landing.  Apparently the driver was planning for a wild ride because he had the good sense to strap on a helmet. Watch this Jeep Cherokee take on a pond.

Dirt Bike Jeep
There are close calls… and then there’s this. This dirt bike lands on a Jeep after sailing over 100 feet through the air off of a dune. This could have gone wrong in so many ways for both parties. That’s why its always a good idea to have spotters watching the take off and the landing when jumping, particularly in the dunes.

step up crash
Some might argue that there’s very little skill involved in the X Games Step Up competition.  You basically just hold the gas and try to get as high as possible, right? Well, as this little video shows, there’s a whole lot that can go wrong just trying to make it to the bar.

Dirt Bike BailI
f you know you’re coming up short, is it wiser to bail or try and ride it out in hopes that the bike will take the brunt of the impact? While filming the recent Doonies 3 video, Kris Foster had an epic dune jump fail that he chose to bail on. What would you do? Check out his crash and then watch the full Doonies 3 video right HERE.
