Los Angeles, CA – JT Racing USA is pleased to announce that Southern Motorcycle Supply is now on board as an official distributor of the iconic brand. Southern has added JT Racing USA to their growing portfolio, and will distribute JT’s line of pants, jerseys, gloves, helmets and casual wear. The 2012 JT Race Wear and casual wear are in stock and available now.

Launched in the late 1960’s and reborn earlier this year, JT Racing USA ruled motocross in the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s with many past champions including David Bailey, Broc Glover, Danny LaPorte, Ronnie Lechien and Donnie Hansen. Highlights of the brand new 2012 collection include the Classick MX pant, Life-Line gloves, Pro-Tour jerseys, and ALS-02 helmet.

“JT Racing’s heritage and iconic status coupled with their pursuit of innovation, style and quality is exciting,” said John Pederson, Southern Motorcycle Supply President. “The fit, function, and wearability of the 2012 Classick MX pant will set a new standard in the industry. We are very excited to have JT on board and look forward to offering their outstanding products to dealers throughout the country.”

“We are very selective in finding the perfect partner in each country to distribute our brand,” said JT Racing Vice President, Daniel Sandstedt. “With the U.S. being our largest market, it was very important to have a distributor who is as committed as we are. We have found that in Southern Motorcycle Supply. As our exclusive U.S. distributor, we will continuously support Southern with top quality products and a very extensive merchandising campaign to ensure the brand is reignited in the proper fashion.”

Darryl Atkins, Global sales manager for JT Racing USA added: “I’m extremely excited about the re-launch of the iconic JT Racing brand across the globe. The US market is very critical for us and Southern is a perfect fit. JT is originally from San Diego – where Southern is based – and many of Southern’s current employees actually worked for JT. Southern’s Sales Manager Gail Richardson was JT’s third employee, so we’re very excited to have a knowledgeable and experienced distributor supporting us. We look forward to working with Southern Motorcycle Supply and truly believe they can offer the great customer service we require within the United States.”
