Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing is something Stenberg has recently added to his motorsport skills.  Sternberg won the overall championship for Off-Road Racing in 2010.  He also participates in the highly competitive X Games.  In 2011, he won a Best Whip gold medal, as voted by the fans. In addition to being a professional off-road truck racer, he is also a freestyle motocross rider.

TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH —One of the wildest events of the year is on tap at Miller Motorsports Park this weekend, June 23-24, as the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series makes its third annual visit to Utah.

The high-flying, non-stop, adrenaline-fueled action provided by the series’ trucks and buggies has proven to be very popular with Utah fans. There are nine separate racing classes, four for trucks, two for buggies and three for karts (small, truck-bodied off-road buggies). In addition to well-known off-road racing stars like Utah’s Jerry Daugherty, Carl Renezeder, Curt LeDuc and Rob McCachren, the series is enjoying an influx of action sports stars such as motocross legends Jeremy McGrath, Brian Deegan, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and Carey Hart. Skateboarding pioneer Danny Way will be making his off-road racing debut this weekend as well.

Corona, CA – (June 8, 2012) The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Pro 2 class will do battle for the first time at the newly constructed, state-of-the-art Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park. Catch all the racing coverage on CBS, June 10th at 2:00pm ET. Included in the coverage is a unique “behind the scenes” segment shot from the perspective of the competitors, capturing the top driver’s candid commentary on their controversial rivalries, strategies and mindsets.

The Pro 2 teams arrive at this third stop of the series ready to take on one of the most challenging, state-of-the-art short tracks in the history of four-wheeled off road racing. The Rockstar Energy Drink Southern California Shootout presented by E3 Spark Plugs, pits the top drivers against both their fellow racers and the highly technical track. Obstacles such as the “Matterhorn”, an enormous tabletop jump that will launch the drivers side-by-side 120 feet through the air and the 100+ mph straightaway are just two of the hazards they will have to negotiate every lap.

CYPRESS, CALIFORNIA – Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. announced today Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and Jeremy McGrath will both compete in the Pro2 Unlimited class of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series on Toyo Open Country M/T-R tires.   This action-packed short-course off-road racing series features large fields of entrants in high-horsepower machines, all fighting for the top spot on the podium.  Both drivers are members of the powerful Stronghold Motorsports off-road racing team.

Last year seven-time AMA Supercross Champion, Jeremy McGrath, captured his first win in Pro 2 Unlimited in front of a packed stadium at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  He also captured six podium finishes, one being third overall in the big money finale, the Lucas Oil Challenge Cup, Pro 2 vs. Pro 4.  With his 2011 successes, look for McGrath to be a strong contender for the Pro 2 Unlimited championship in 2012 with his 900-horsepower #2 Monster Energy / Toyo Tires Ford F-150.

Joining McGrath and Team Toyo Off-Road is Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg with his Toyo Tires / Stronghold Motorsports Ford F-150.  The hard-charging Stenberg is a 10-time X-Games medalist in Freestyle Moto-X and won the 2010 SuperLite truck class championship in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.

“I’m pumped to be joining my teammate Jeremy McGrath on Team Toyo.  Toyo Tires has established itself as a leader in short course off road racing with the Open Country M/T race tire,” said Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg.  “My Stronghold Motorsports Pro2 is dialed in and with my Toyo Tires putting that horsepower to the ground we’re going to be a force to be reckoned with.”

“We are excited to have both Jeremy ‘Twitch’ Stenberg and Jeremy McGrath as members of Team Toyo Off-Road in 2012,” said Amy Coleman, senior director of marketing, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.  “Both are highly competitive and have a huge base of fans.  They will both be great representatives of our Toyo Tires philosophy… Driven to Perform.”

The 16-race Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series begins March 31, 2012 at Firebird Raceway in Chandler, Arizona.  Races will be broadcast on CBS Sports, NBC Sports Network, SPEED Channel and MavTV.  Log on to for both race and programming schedules.

RENO, NEV — The adrenaline-fueled, fender-to-fender, off-road action of SuperLite racing returns to the Firebird International Raceway outside of Phoenix, Arizona March 19, as some of the biggest names in dirt racing kick off the 16-race schedule of the 2011 SuperLite Championship Series.

Fan favorites like X Games veteran Jeff “Ox” Kargola and 2010 runner-up Chad George will face off against a cast of young, talented drivers like Dawson Kirchner and CJ Greaves in a furious, short-course track that features tight corners, high-flying jumps and speed-friendly straight-aways.

Drivers will be revved up and ready for a fierce opening race at Firebird, each pushing for good positioning in the race standings heading into the hotly contested series. Last year’s X Games gold medalist Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg edged Chad George for the 2010 championship, followed by CJ Greaves in third. This year, racers will put the pedal to the floor at Firebird in an attempt to get a leg up on the ultra-competitive field of racers.

“Firebird is one of the most storied and demanding tracks in the SuperLite Championship Series,” said general manager, Kevin Singleton, for the SuperLite Championship Series. “Our fans can count on a spectacular start to the 2011 series as a talented field of drivers fight to the finish in a no-holds-barred contest of horsepower, driving skill and high-stakes jockeying between metal machines.”

The SuperLite Championship Series, part of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series, has been described as “motorcross racing on steroids” for the abundance of dirt jumps on the short-track courses that boost the high-horsepower trucks into the air as they race head-to-head.

Between 14 and 16 competitors take the track each race for a chance to take the checkered flag. Most are seasoned racers or up-and-coming stars, but the SuperLite Championship Series also offers a chance for new racers to break into the world of competitive, short-track racing with the “Arrive and Drive” program. For as little as $7,500 per race, “Arrive and Drive” customers are provided a race-ready SuperLite truck, a race support crew and the chance to face off with off-road racing stars in a nationally televised dirt track contest.

The SuperLite Championship Series will be broadcast across the nation on CBS and more details will arrive shortly. For more information, visit

He rocked it his first time out in the 2009 Challenge Cup. He knocked out a championship during his first full season of 2010. As a result of winning the championship, Stenberg was crowned the SuperLite Rookie of the Year. For the 2011 Lucas Oil Off Road Season, Jeremy has entered a new phase in his life and is excited for all the new endeavors he will endure with Premiere Motorsports Group this upcoming season.

Always making headlines in more ways than one, the inspired X-Games FMX hero has quit the long time association with Metal Mulisha and joined forces with the “Iron Army’s” biggest industry rival.

The contention between the two off road teams has created a battle that will take place on four wheels as opposed to two. Instead of dirt bikes, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg will be racing a 900HP PRO-2 at 80 miles per hour through tight banked corners and 100’ jumps.

Driving for Premiere Motorsports Group, 9-time X-Games medalist, Stenberg will run the prepped #88 PRO-2 competing for the entire 15 round series. The truck is supported by MAVTV, General Tire, Hart and Huntington and the rest of the Premiere Motorsports Group/Hart and Huntington Off Road team, with it’s 2011 sponsor partners soon to be announced. Jeremy stated “I jumped into racing trucks and went for it. My record shows I know how to drive. What can I say? I love to race and with these trucks we get to rub doors. It don’t get no better than that.” You can also catch Jeremy on VH1’s new reality TV series     X-Life, be sure to tune in every Monday at 10pm Central/9pm Pacific!

“Twitch” had a killer first year with three 1st place victories, a 2nd and two 3rd place finishes awarding him the 2010 SuperLite Championship and Rookie of the Year,” explained Ryan Busnardo, leader of Premiere Motorsports Group/Hart and Huntington Off Road. Ryan went on, “What we are going to do now, is get Jeremy up to speed for racing against the biggest, wildest class in off road racing. We now have the #88 set up for his driving style and we have a lot of laps that are going to be turned.”  P.M.G. is also excited to bring on Danny Ebberts who will be the crew chief for the #88 Pro-2. Even though Danny is new to Premiere Motorsports Group, he is definitely not new to the off road. Danny has already accomplished so much including, 2010 LOORRS Mechanic of the Year. He also won the 2006 Vegas to Reno Race as a driver and builder in addition to 2001 USAC Midget Champion. Last year Danny accomplished over seven 1st place finishes in LOORRS as crew chief.

The Premiere Motorsports Group fleet will be running an all new Hart and Huntington theme that closely resembles Carey Hart’s Super Cross Team. “We gotta keep it real,” Carey said. “The Hart and Huntington Empire is moving ahead fast. We got a lot of things going on and Jeremy lives the INK ROCK MOTO lifestyle perfectly. I am stoked to have him on the team this year.”

The 2011 Lucas Oil Off Road Series kicks off on March 19, 2011. The team will be traveling to Firebird Raceway in Phoenix, AZ for Rounds 1 and 2.  Visit for further information or to purchase your tickets online for the upcoming event!
