SEMA recently announced that the Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited donated by Omix-ADA to SEMA Cares and displayed at the 2015 SEMA Show will be heading to auction soon through Barrett-Jackson. The auction will take place on Wednesday, January 27. The customized Jeep features a host of Rugged Ridge products, and it was was designed by Arianny Celeste, LFTD & LVLD magazine, Rugged Ridge, SEMA Cares and built by DUB Garage.
CORONA, Calif. (September 20, 2013) – After a great start to the second-to-last weekend of Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORS) competition, Casey Currie and the Monster Energy/General Tire team will carry a pair of top five qualifying efforts into the 13th and 14th rounds of the Pro Lite season. The action from the series’ second to visit Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2013 kicks off Friday night, followed by a second showing under the lights on Saturday.
Since the arrival of the Monster Energy/General Tire Jeep JK, Currie and his team have continued to step up their performance every time they take to the track. After logging laps for the first time on Thursday morning for practice, Currie and his team fine-tuned the truck for an all-out assault of the track in qualifying. At the end of two sessions, the Monster Energy/General Tire Jeep JK will line up fourth during each night of action.
CORONA, Calif. – Casey Currie and the Monster Energy/General Tire team were at the top of their game this past weekend in San Bernardino, Calif., as Rounds 9 and 10 of the 2013 Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORS) were raced under the lights at Glen Helen Raceway. Currie’s Monster Energy/General Tire Jeep JK was a force to be reckoned with during both nights of Pro Lite action and ended the weekend with one of his best outings of the season, highlighted by a runner-up effort on Sunday. The performance vaulted Currie back into the Pro Lite title hunt with five rounds of racing remaining.
Due to the special nature of the first of two weekends of night racing this season the format for track time was altered, resulting in a loaded day of action on Friday. Currie began the weekend with practice on Friday morning and set up his truck for the pair of qualifying sessions scheduled for later that afternoon. Friday’s first qualifying session set the grid for Round 9 on Saturday evening and Currie got the weekend off to a strong start by qualifying fourth. Just a few hours later, Currie returned to the track to earn his starting spot for Round 10 on Sunday night, getting even more out of the Jeep JK to post the third-fastest time.
