Morgantown, W. Va. (December 9, 2011) - Crawfordsville, Indiana is home to some of the most enthusiastic off-road racing fans in the country, which is why the Amsoil Ironman GNCC is one of the most popular stops along the 13-round Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series tour. Rescheduled for this Sunday, December 11, at 5 p.m. EST, RacerTV captures some of the best racing of the year and documents another step in Charlie Mullins’ spectacular championship run in 2011.

This year’s Ironman GNCC was themed “pink” once again, in honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The GNCC Racing community supported the cause by wearing pink clothing and adorning their motorcycles, vehicles and pits in pink decor. Don’t miss the chance to relive one of the biggest GNCC events of the year and witness America’s fastest off-road motorcycle racers in the world compete on the renowned soils of eastern Indiana.

According to a recent story in San Diego newspaper the Union-Tribune, Ivan “Ironman” Stewart is moving away from his off-road business, selling many of his belongings from his career, and moving into … electric bicycles?

“I’ve never been afraid of change,” Steward said in the story. “And I want to change directions now. Ninety-nine percent of what we own that is off-road related is for sale.”

His plans are to sell off the Stewart & Stewart Racing and ProTruck business. He will no longer build and sell ProTruck vehicles, the off-road spec truck that has classes running in the SCORE, BITD and SNORE series.

He also plans to auction off most of his racing memorabilia from his three-decade career at an auction on August 28, 2010 (see below link for more information).
