Forest Hill, LA – Factory Husaberg rider Russell Bobbitt and AirGroup Radiant Racing Husaberg rider Nick Fahringer finished 2nd and 3rd respectively at the fourth round of the Rekluse/AMA National Enduro Series dubbed the Cajun Enduro.

Bobbitt rode strong from the opening test to the final test section. The 4-time National Enduro Champion finished 2nd in four of the tests to help maintain a gap over third place. At the end of all six tests he was able to take home 2nd place with a margin of 1 minute and 26 seconds over Fahringer.

Dawson Springs, KY – In muddy conditions, Husaberg Factory rider, Russell Bobbitt, took home his second straight win of the season at round two of the OMA Nationals aboard his Husaberg TE300. Fellow Husaberg rider Nick Fahringer joined him on the podium with a second place finish.

Bobbitt had a flawless day. He launched his Husaberg off the line to earn the holeshot as the riders rounded the first corner. From that point on, he continued to stretch his lead throughout the two-hour plus race on the 7 mile looped course. When Bobbitt crossed the finish line he had lapped up to fourth place and finished an impressive 3 minutes ahead of Fahringer who was second.

Tuscumbia, AL – Husaberg Factory rider Russell Bobbitt took the win at the opening round of the OMA Nationals after a two-hour battle with KTM rider Kailub Russell for the lead position.

Bobbitt started the race in fourth position and was able to quickly move up to the lead before the end of the first lap. “I was able to make some passes on the first lap because everyone in front of me was making small mistakes and blowing corners allowing me to close in and gain positions,” stated Bobbitt.

Bobbitt held the lead for the first two laps on the 11 mile course with Kailub Russell in tow. At the gas stop after the completion of the second lap he lost the lead to Russell. “Kailub and I continued to battle throughout the race,” commented Bobbitt. “It was actually pretty fun, but there were so many mud holes down in the bottom of the ravines that we were both covered in water after trading the lead so many times and splashing each other. Neither of us had anymore tear-offs which also became a problem as we continued to battle.”

In yesterday’s King of the Motos race, Cody Webb was able to hold off last year’s winner Graham Jarvis for the win (check out highlights of last year’s event here).

Webb, on the #247 Beta, was the overall King of the Motos winner after completing the 160 miles of race course for two laps with an elapsed time of 4 hours, 50 minutes and 38 second.

Jarvis was in the mix with Webb until a flat tire he sustained on his Husaberg pushed him off the pace and he had to settle for second. Rounding out the podium in the pro class was the Kawasaki-mounted Taylor Robert.

Lafferty and Fahringer Podium at Rattlesnake National Enduro

Cross Fork, PA – Husaberg Factory riders Mike Lafferty and Nick Fahringer both landed on the podium at the seventh round of the AMA National Enduro Series finishing 2^nd and 3^rd respectively.

After taking a win at the Wyoming round, Lafferty was eager to repeat his success at the Rattlesnake Enduro. Lafferty got off to a great start in the first test section matching the second fastest time with KTM rider Steward Baylor. Lafferty and Baylor would remain close in times on the next two tests.

It was Fahringer who picked up the pace in the fourth test. “I rode overly cautious in the first few tests and finally stepped up to the plate at the end of the race,” commented Fahringer. The Husaberg rider turned the fastest time in the fourth test to take the section win with Lafferty finishing 2^nd and Baylor in 3^rd.

Millville, MN – Husaberg Factory rider Nick Fahringer finished 3^rd overall at the sixth round of the OMA’s held at Spring Creek MX Park.

Fahringer got off to a 3^rd place start and was passed in one of the opening corners by another rider. “Unfortunately, I got passed quickly in the race and then struggled to get back around the rider,” stated Fahringer. “After about a lap and a half I was able to pass back into 3^rd but I had lost a lot of time to the leaders at that point.”

Fahringer continued to plug away on the tough, technical track in the exhausting heat. At the end of the race, he was able to hang on to 3^rd place to position his Husaberg on the podium. Fahringer will now head to Pennsylvania this weekend in order to compete in the seventh round of the AMA National Enduro Series where he is currently 5^th overall in series point standings.

Upton, WY – Factory Husaberg rider Mike Lafferty won his 70th career win after finishing 1st at the sixth round of the AMA National Enduro Series.

Lafferty came out swinging strong at the sixth round to collect the first three special test wins aboard his Husaberg TE250. He continued to hold a solid pace through the remaining sections and was able to clinch his 70th career win with a 15 second lead over the 2nd place ride of Russell Bobbitt.

“I am really excited to get this win,” stated Lafferty. “I haven’t won a race since 2010 so it has been long overdue. I was able to start with a win in the first section and carry that momentum through to the last test. I am really comfortable with the terrain at the next two national enduros and hope that I can remain consistent and hopefully close the point gap in the series standings.”
