Off-Road-Expo-Logo-10-2-12POMONA, Calif. – The 2013 Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo powered by General Tire will invade the Pomona Fairplex Saturday, October 5 through Sunday, October 6, with everything off-road including new vehicles, thousands of parts and accessories, Toyota off-road test drives, racing demos from the King of the Hammers and Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series and more. This year’s expo features more than 350 of the industry’s leading manufacturers, dealers and distributors, showcasing all the latest off-road toys, technologies, parts, gear and accessories.

Off-road manufacturer representatives will be on-site to demonstrate and educate attendees on all the latest vehicles and accessories. In addition to the line-up of trucks, Jeeps, UTVs, ATVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, sand rails, rock crawlers, parts and accessories on display, the expo will come to life with exciting features and entertainment including:

Hammer Town, the city constructed on the Means Dry Lake Bed, is bustling with four-wheel activity leading up to the 2012 Griffin King of the Hammers. Thousands of off-roaders will venture to the Johnson Valley OHV area to partake in the festivities, and many have already enjoyed the action over the past few days leading up to the main event.

The unique race has grown every year, and for 2012 new events have been added to the lineup to further cement KOH as the must-attend hard-core rock-desert race. The Smittybilt Everyman Challenge kicked off on Sunday, offering off-roaders the chance to test the Hammers course in more restrictive vehicles. John Currie took the overall victory on the 85-mile course in a TJ, while Larry McRae won the modified class in a heavily modified Poison Spyder JK.
