Fort Mill, SC – The 2011 off-road season boasted some incredible racing and General Tire’s Justin Davis certainly contributed to those moments. Davis’ stand-out performances in the SCORE series have garnered him the distinction of being named Dirt Sports Rookie of the Year for 2011. The 18-year-old Davis was also nominated for the Dirt Sports Driver of the Year award. The youngster joins General Tire’s Carl Renezeder as a recipient of the annual Dirt Sports awards.

Fort Mill, SC – February 14, 2012 – What do “Wheel of Fortune’s” Vanna White and “Wonder Woman” Linda Carter have in common? They both hold the distinct honor of being a Miss Mint 400 winner. And Mad Media, along with sponsor General Tire, is looking for the new 2012 Miss Mint 400 in advance of the famed General Tire Mint 400. This year’s Miss Mint 400 winner will earn a $5,000 cash prize in addition to other prizes, national exposure and a professional photo shoot.

“The Miss Mint 400 competition provided a great platform for me to expand into more and more spokesperson roles,” said Keli Snyder, 2011 Miss Mint. “The opportunity to be part of such a historic event was certainly a huge honor for me.”

The 2012 Miss Mint 400 winner, Ali Kessler, also used the Miss Mint competition to help expand her career.

Fort Mill, SC - The Best In The Desert (BITD) Series kicked off at the “Parker 425″ over the weekend in Parker, Arizona and Team GT started the 2012 season off on the right foot. Following a 12th-place qualifying effort, Mikey Childress fought through a course that over time; became rougher and tougher to navigate. The California-native worked his way through traffic to finish third in class 1 and sixth overall with a time of 7:37:51. A solid start to the season for the Team GT veteran.

On the heels of his class 8 BITD championship, Macrae Glass started his 2012 season on top of the podium. Glass posted a first-place finish in class 8 as he begins his bid for back-to-back championships.
