Chandler, AZ — DragonFire is the defending Lucas Oil Off-Road Regionals Unlimited UTV champ, three time Mint 400 winners, 2014 UTV Rally Raid title holder and 2015 Best In The Desert Unlimited Pro UTV champions, so to say we know racing is something of an understatement. We have combined our years of winning with another winner, Weller Racing, to create a complete performance package for the Polaris RZR.
Chandler, AZ — Feeling the need for speed? Pure performance is the name of the game for Yamaha’s hot new YXZ1000R, so we thought it was time to help accelerate to RacePace! DragonFire is pleased to announce the popular “Flying V” bar joins our ever expanding range of products for the new Yamaha YXZ1000R.
Chandler, AZ — There is an old ad slogan that claims “power is nothing without control” — and in the case of the new YXZ1000R, we definitely agree! DragonFire has developed a billet quick-release hub and offers a range of steering wheel options to keep Yamaha’s big-bore YXZ1000R sport UTV firmly in control. As an added bonus, the quick-release feature also acts as a theft deterrent.
Chandler, AZ — There is no question that Yamaha’s new YXZ 1000R is a game changer! From the 998cc triple to the 5-speed sequential close ratio transmission, this machine lives up to its billing as the first “Pure Sports” Side-X-Side ever produced. But for such a purpose-built weapon, DragonFire did find it curious that simple 3-point automotive style lap belt — with no padding — was utilized! For a machine that is intended to be race-ready the lack of proper restraints is problematic… not to mention illegal in many sanctioned competition events!
Chandler, AZ — Yamaha purposely built the new Yamaha YXZ1000R to be a no-compromise “Pure Sports” machine. That is music to DragonFire’s ears! This company was founded on desert racing roots and we still feel the need for speed! In the case of racing, less is more, which was the design brief for our new RacePace front bumper for the Yamaha YXZ 1000R!
Chandler, AZ – They say good things happen to good people and Lacrecia Beurrier is living proof of this. The DragonFire-backed Pro Unlimited UTV racer and co-driver Chris Moore made it back-to-back wins with this weekend’s Best In The Desert BlueWater Desert Challenge; an event that hosts multiple vehicle classes for UTV, Buggy, Jeep Speed and Trick Truck. However as great as this weekend was, with Lacrecia racing from last to first on day one of the two-day BlueWater race format and totally dominating day two, is the next really important race: the 10th Annual M.O.R.E Powder Puff Race Towards A Cure on November 21.
Chandler, AZ – Rather than striking out, the third time proved to be a charm as Team DragonFire/AZ West/Rockstar Racing’s Lacrecia Beurrier won the infamous Vegas to Reno off-road race this past weekend. Billed as the longest point-to-point off-road race in the country, Buerrier beat the odds after the ignominy of a DNF the last time out to win not only the 545-mile race, but also clinch the 2015 Best In The Desert Pro Unlimited UTV title. It wasn’t as easy at it may have looked though!
Fresh off another Mint 400 win, Team DragonFire/AZ West/Polaris UTV Pro Unlimited pilot Lacrecia Beurrier is ready to strike it rich at Best In The Desert Silver State 300 race on May 1-3. She is off to a great start, drawing the #1 starting position for Saturday’s race!
They say the third time is a charm… and in the case of DragonFire-sponsored Pro Unlimited UTV pilot Lacrecia Beurrier this is certainly true. She beat the odds in Las Vegas and won the legendary Mint 400 this past weekend! Since the inaugural event back in 1967, the 400-mile race through the Nevada desert has earned its reputation for being the toughest off-road race in North America. In fact, last year Lacrecia was lucky to even finish, but this year she hit the jackpot at The Mint!
Chandler, AZ – Described as a “short course on steroids” Best In The Desert’s BlueWater Desert Challenge is different than any other race in the series. It features two full days of racing over a 26-mile, multi-loop course along the Colorado river. DragonFire’s Pro UTV team is looking forward to the unique set of challenges this weekend… and Lacrecia Beurrier’s “lucky 13″ starting position.
