BRC’s Team Albright is headed east to dig into issues affecting motorized access face-to-face in the eastern half of the US. The “cry for help” has been heard and BRC is pushing ahead with a plan; but we need your input. In fact, we’d like your suggestions, travel ideas, tips on places to visit and offers for “meet and greets” where Del and Stacie can hear from you and your club directly. Together we need to work towards a better future for you and your family to enjoy outdoor motorsports.
POCATELLO, ID (November 12, 2013) — The BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) Board of Directors formally announced today that Del Albright will serve as Interim Director of Operations, overseeing the daily affairs of BRC following the departure of former Executive Director Greg Mumm. Albright is well known to BRC supporters and the broader outdoor community, having worked with BRC for over a decade, most recently as the BRC Ambassador.
“It is with great anticipation that we promote Del to this position,” said John Parrinello, President of the BRC Board. “He has the right mix of experience, vision, and credibility with our constituents to lead BRC at this important juncture,” Parrinello explained.
MOAB, UT (March 13, 2013) — Moab Diner, with help from RCH Designs, has partnered up with several off-road sponsors again this year to sell Moab t-shirts with a built-in support for The BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC). The money raised from the sale of these shirts will help keep our trails in Moab, Utah open. If you are interested in supporting BRC and the Moab trails, you only have until March 18th to buy your t-shirt online. Even after that, however, you can still swing by the Moab Diner and get your t-shirt there, and have a great meal at the same time!
BRC extends a huge thank you to our Moab Diner friends, James Butterfield (General Manager) and Geoff Thomas (owner). They believe in our trails and the fun our off-road sports bring to the community.
March 11, 2013 – Del & Stacie, Team Albright and AreaBFE announced today that Team Albright of Mokelumne Hill, California has signed on as an Official Landuse Ambassadors of the AreaBFE Off Road Park near Moab Utah. Team Albright will work closely with the group that established the park in 2004 to ensure the private land remains open to all, 365 days a year. In addition to helping promote AreaBFE’s world class venue year-round, Del & Stacie plan to be on site for the annual Easter Jeep Safari.
Del Albright said: “ We are committed to helping preserve the outdoor recreation activities offered at AreaBFE, and honored to join the ranks of off road organizations such as BFGoodrich Tires, Superchips, Full-Traction Suspension, MasterPull, Yukon Gear & Axle, KC Hilites, Epic Addictions, and Advance Adapters. Stacie added, “The great folks at AreaBFE support landuse and keeping all our trails open, and we plan to commit our time to helping them spread the landuse word.”
“We are honored that Del & Stacie, Team Albright have stepped up to support our efforts here at AreaBFE!” said Olaf Kilthau, Managing Member at AreaBFE. “We host numerous events throughout the year, catering to variety of outdoor activities, and having Del & Stacie on our team brings a unique credibility and knowledge to our operation.” Olaf went on to say, “We want our recreational park to serve as a national example of responsible and fun outdoor activities, where everyone is welcome to have some fun, yet also help us keep our outdoor sports alive, and our trails open. We support landuse and access wholeheartedly, and are thrilled to have Del & Stacie join our team.”
Serving in their Official Landuse Ambassador capacities, Del & Stacie will provide environmental conservation, education, and landuse advice and assistance to the park, and be available to help promote the outdoor activities available at AreaBFE. Team Albright will orchestrate and manage the staffing of the annual Landuse Team Booth at AreaBFE during Easter Jeep Safari.
AreaBFE is a 320 acre recreational park that facilitates many different outdoor activities. The park was developed by a group of guys who had a vision in 2004; “Create a place where people could go without the threat of being kicked-off of a fun little playground and insure that people will always have a place to recreate!” Since then, the AreaBFE staff and volunteers have been working to make trails, camping areas and many other fun destination points on the property. This project has reassured faith in the OHV community and the values these people hold close to their hearts. Learn more about AreaBFE at AreaBFE.com

Editor’s Note: Del Albright, long-time off-road enthusiast and advocate for land use and trail access, recently published a column regarding concern for the Rubicon Trail. Below is his column as well as information about how to get involved.
WORRIED ABOUT THE RUBICON TRAIL
IS GOVERNMENT LISTENING TO THE USERS?
I left my leadership position in Friends of the Rubicon (FOTR) and the Rubicon Trail Foundation (RTF) a few years back, thinking that we had laid a positive foundation to continue these incredible efforts to keep the Rubicon Trail open to all of us…all year; for all types of rigs; with challenges for us all.
NOT THE CASE!!!
Note: This was sent over from the Trail Political Action Committee (TPAC) forwarded by Del Albright regarding the upcoming elections.
Dear Trail Voter,
The mainstream media is working overtime to bias the news to discourage pro-trail voters in blue and battleground states in the hope that you will give up and stay home. The Trail PAC is going to counter that with the 1st ever pro-trail social media week. This national counter offensive is called OPERATION SOARING EAGLE.
Some congressional races are won or lost by less than 50 votes or just one vote per precinct. With the election just a few weeks away, it is important for trail voters to inform their Facebook friends about our targeted races and encourage them to go to the polls on November 6 and VOTE!
TPAC knows many people are busy trying to make a living and don’t have time to follow political campaigns. That is why it is important for YOU to LIKE the pro-trail candidates below so your social networks throughout the country will know about these candidates and the issues.
TPAC is not asking for any donations today. Our national counterattack is FREE. All we ask of you is to go to the following races and LIKE them. Also, feel free to share your support of the Trail PAC and these candidates with your social networks. Just those few extra votes WILL make a difference in this historic election.
ACTION ITEM: Go to all of the candidate’s websites and LIKE them. This will have a huge impact and best of all it’s FREE!
Here is TPAC’s list of targeted key races as of October 2, 2012
Tommy Thompson (WI-Senate)
Dean Heller (NV – Senate)
Denny Rehberg (MT-Senate)
George Allen (VA- Senate)
Jeff Flake (AZ – Senate)
Heather Wilson (NM-Senate)
Rick Berg (ND-Senate)
U.S. House of Representatives
John Koster (WA CD-1)
Koster’s Facebook page link since it was harder to find on website: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Koster-for-Congress/246070079439
Dan Lungren (CA CD-7)
Chip Cravaack (MN CD-8)

Thanks in advance for taking a few minutes to help save our trails via the election process.
Feel free to check back into these campaigns throughout the week to see how many of your friends are getting engaged.
Thanks also for your support of TPAC.

POCATELLO, ID — BlueRibbon Coalition is excited to announce our third annual Christmas Auction to save trails and keep public lands FOR the public instead of FROM the public. The eBay bidding will start December 1st, 2011.
BRC Auctioneer Del Albright said, “I’m stoked; this auction is kickin’ it for public lands and waterways. Businesses from all over have donated products and goodies to make this year’s auction a record-breaker.”
Raceline Wheels and WARN Industries started off filling the virtual storeroom shelves already. Get ready to see Raceline Monster Diamond Beadlocks and a WARN winch to start with. More partner-contributing businesses will include a long list of recognizable names. Stay tuned.
BRC lists hundreds of items on eBay (as donated by supporting businesses) with all proceeds benefiting their national efforts to save trails and riding areas for our continued access.
“Each bidder is contributing to our winning team,” said Greg Mumm, Executive Director of BRC. “Thanks to the vendors donations, not only is each winning bidder getting some awesome product, they are also contributing to our winning team,” said Greg Mumm, Executive Director of BRC. “This annual eBay auction significantly beefs up our ability to fight back,” Greg added.
The King of the Hammers (KOH) race-a-thon for access is next week, Friday the 11th, and the land use pledges are building up. NOW is the time to make your pledge and help us save trails and keep our sports alive, no matter your choice of outdoor recreation. Visit http://www.sharetrails.org/4405 to pledge now. This race-a-thon by the 4405 Land Use Buggy will generate funds to help us fight for trails nationwide in a much needed time.
No pledge is too small. Pledge what you can; pay later. We’ll send you reminder after the race is over.
All who have pledged so far can stand proud, but we send a huge thank you for a very generous pledge from the Tin Benders 4×4 club of southern California and the matching pledge by 4 Wheel Parts! Again, no pledge is too small; every amount helps. Be sure and visit all the vendors at KOH who support land use and tell them thank you as well.
If you’re going to KOH, you can pledge there on the lakebed as well. Look for Kurt Schneider, Del Albright, Travis Carpenter (driver), Stacie Albright or any of the 4405 Land Use Buggy Team to pledge on the spot. The KOH apparel booth and BlueRibbon Coalition booth will also have pledge forms.
As we send you this, the 4405 Land Use Buggy has been on the dyno and is ready to race for access. It’s a work of art! Pledge now to protect your future for access with whatever you can afford, per mile or flat amount. It all helps. Learn more about the race-a-thon pledge here: http://www.sharetrails..org/releases/?story=720
Thank you for being on the team to protect your recreational future.
